I have been a speech-language pathologist since 2008. Having worked in higher education, private practice, schools, outpatient rehabilitation and early intervention, I am confident I can support you!
My true passion for working with older students developed as I took on a job at a middle & high school, and realized there was so little training for adolescent services. Filled with imposter syndrome myself, I followed my students' leads and developed engaging, student projects that targeted motivation, resilience and life skills.
Since then, I have published in peer-reviewed journals and presented widely on the topic of trauma-informed care, neurodiversity, and media literacy in adolescent language therapy. This website is designed to support and mentor grad students, Clinical Fellows, & SLPs who are new to working with older students. Welcome!

DDV Speech stands for Daily Dog Vibes Speech. Yep, that's right! Dogs embody all the things I want to remember: be present, be loyal, be intentional, and love fully.
Dogs know how to live in the moment and just vibe. That's what DDV Speech is all about...supporting and sustaining your peace of mind on your journey as a middle school speech therapist!
